Lotus Caterham Seven
After 20 long years of waiting - I finally own a Lotus Seven. I suppose I
really should call it a Caterham Seven, as Caterham took over the manufacture of
the car in 1973, but when I first fell in love with the Seven it was a Lotus.
At 10:00am on Saturday 1st March 1997, my little red Classic Super Seven SE
was delivered. She is every thing I dreamed she would be. 1600cc, 4 speed, twin
webers, clam shell fenders, etc, etc, etc. <

Driving experience will have to wait till the Oregon weather allows it to be
driven properly, but from my experience of driving other Sevens I know its going
to be a great deal of fun.
The car was delivered with some minor problems, so I am going to allow the
dealer to fix them before either praising or condemning them.
And now to the pictures.

From the side
From the back
That tiny cockpit
Everyone will see it coming

The dealer had put this car together for an article in Car and Driver magazine.
